Throughout the school year, Woodburn Lutheran School collects chapel offerings and donates them to different organizations. Chapel offerings are designated to a specific organization each quarter. Our first quarter chapel offerings this year benefited Shepherd’s House. WLS was recently blessed with the opportunity to provide a check for $705, along with some much-needed supplies, to Shepherd’s House.

Shepherd’s House, located in Fort Wayne, is a transitional housing center for Veterans. The mission of Shepherd’s House is to rebuild the lives of those who society views as hopeless into sober and productive assets to the community.

Woodburn Lutheran School is thankful for the ministry Shepherd’s House provides and the opportunity to contribute.  Many Veterans are blessed by the work they do.
