Woodburn Lutheran School collected 3rd quarter chapel offerings to donate to the Rescue Mission. On March 23rd, WLS was able to present a check for $768 to the Rescue Mission. Students and families also donated needed items and gave those to the Rescue Mission.

The Rescue Mission, founded in 1903, is a faith-based, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, providing restorative care to men, women and children experiencing a homeless crisis. The organization serves Fort Wayne, Allen County and its nine surrounding counties. The Rescue Mission is comprised of four ministries, or houses, that function as communities of compassion. Their mission is to provide, through the power of Jesus Christ, a home for the homeless, food for the hungry, and hope for their future.

WLS was blessed to be able to help support this organization.
